Micro Electro Mechanical Sensor (MEMS) Accelerometer based Self-Balancing Robot is design to support two major applications as transportation and surveillance. This robot is develop with two wheels along with hardware components. A self balancing robot is robust and also it consumes considerable power due to the smaller size of this robot.

We have used the following hardware components to design a self balancing robot,

Micro Electro Mechanical Sensor (MEMS) Accelerometer based Self-Balancing Robot is a special type of sensor which accurately predicts the angle variation of the object.

This sensor is an accelerometer that is operate in 3 axis that measures six degrees of freedom while the robot is moving.

This robot is also enable to function on slope areas also. The programming for this self balancing robotic design is handled in embedded C language. The measurement of sensor in given into Analog to Digital convertor for converting the values and further it is submitted into microcontroller. The motors attached to the wheels are control based on the commands received from microcontroller.
