RFID-Based System for School Children Transportation Safety Enhancement to ensure parents that their child is safe. Due to the increased vulnerabilities against school student’s safety, this system is developed. The students are travelling longer distances to reach their school, where most of the students prefer school transportation.

The pick up and drop of the child from the school transport is provisioned with safety using RFID technology.

Working Procedure of School Children Transportation System

• • Each student carries a RFID tag which is need to record the boarding of student into bus.
  • RFID reader present in the bus will read the tag and reports the entered student into the school server.
  • Similarly the RFID reader reads while the child leaves the bus and reports to school server.

• When the student is not picked or dropped, then the mobile number of the corresponding bus driver will be intimated through SMS to the student’s caretakers.
