Modeling and Simulation of Power Flow & Voltage Analysis of PV Integrated Distribution Network

 

Implementation Plan:

 

Step 1: Initially, we construct the radial distribution network Simulink model including loads, and grid-connected PV system.

Step 2: Then, we simulate the model and collect voltage, current, power and PV data.

Step 3: Next, we perform power flow analysis using numerical methods Newton–Raphson to compute power distribution.

Step 4: Next, we analyze the impact of PV integration parameters such as location, capacity, and output variation on voltage profile using collected data.

Step 5: Then, we identify voltage violations and analyze their causes based on collected data.

Step 6: Finally, we plot performance metrics for the following:

6.1: Time vs. Voltage (V)
6.2: Time vs. Current (A)
6.3: Time vs. Power (kW)
6.4: Time vs. PV Penetration Level (%)

 

Software Requirements:

 

1. Development Tool: MATLAB R2023a/Simulink or above
2. Operating System: Windows-10 (64-bit) or above
