MEMS based Automatic Wheelchair for Paralyse Old Age People is the advance capability develop in embedded system. Electronics are becoming the key in recent days, where the academic project concepts are apply over real time applications. As embedded system is supporting a wide range of applications, it also impacts its contribution in facilitation physically disabled person. Old age people and backbone injure person needs a human assistance for moving the wheelchair from one place to another.

It is hard to always depend on a person for moving, so a physically challenge persons willingness is to move independently.

In this MEMS based Automatic Wheelchair for Paralyse Old Age People is proposed to facilitate disable person to move with simpler controlling system.

Micro Electro Mechanical System is shorten as MEMS which is enabled to measure the tiling angle with respect to the static acceleration gravity.

On movement of this MEMS sensor, the wheelchair is operate as direct by the commands. The four major wheelchair moving directions correlate with MEMS are forward, backward, right turn and left turn.
