IoT based Vehicle License Tracking System is developed using the combination of hardware and software programs. The objective of this system is to navigate the theft vehicle’s location and grab the thief red-handedly. This model on embedded system is attracted by academic learners those are from the branches of electronics, communication and electrical. The major merit of developing this system is the providence of security for automobile vehicles.

IoT technology provides ubiquitous connectivity for supporting transportation.

The transmitter unit is built on the vehicle and the receiver unit is fed either on the traffic lights or toll gates. Tracking system is built to detect the theft–vehicle and immediately send warning message to the owner of the vehicle. The attached GPS module is enabled to provide the accurate location of the vehicle, using which the thief is caught. Without transportation, daily life is incomplete and due to this growth the Engineering students have gained more interest towards this area.
