Modeling and Simulation of Intelligent Microgrid with Solar Wind and Smart Controller

 

Implementation Plan:

 

Step 1: Initially, we construct the microgrid Simulink model consisting of a solar PV system, wind energy system,and a central microgrid controller.

Step 2: Then, we integrate optimization-based energy scheduling algorithms in the microgrid controller to allocate sources.

Step 3: Then, we simulate the model and collect voltage, current, power, and energy sources data.

Step 4: Next, we perform machine learning-based forecasting models to predict renewable energy generation and load demand based on collected data.

Step 5: Next, we analyze the optimized allocated sources using optimization based energy scheduling algorithm in the controller based on collected data.

Step 6: Finally, we evaluate and plot performance metrics for the following:

6.1: Time vs. Voltage (V)
6.2: Time vs. Current (A)
6.3: Time vs. Torque (Nm)
6.4: Time vs. Power (kW)
6.5: Time vs. Load Demand (kW)

Software Requirements:

 

1. Development Tool: MATLAB R2023a/Simulink or above
2. Operating System: Windows-10 (64-bit) or above
